This film begins with nest building – adults & Juveniles followed by potential predators, then the older juveniles through to the moulting phase. The waterails had two lots of young, the first appeared on the 18th of June & were only seen on that date, the second brood on the 5th of August. These film clips are all from the same reed bed but using slightly different camera positions.
